There’s something special about summer nights at the ballpark. The smell of popcorn, kids cheering from the stands, and the excitement of watching hometown baseball under the lights. And for local families, the Omaha Storm Chasers are making those memories even sweeter with their Lil Chasers Club.
Designed for young fans ages 10 and under, the Lil Chasers Club gives kids the chance to feel like part of the team while creating affordable family fun all season long. According to the team’s official program page, members receive a free ticket to every Sunday home game, a Lil Chasers t-shirt (while supplies last), access to the Centris Family Fun Zone, priority access for Kids Run the Bases, and exclusive email updates throughout the season.
For parents looking for ways to keep kids active, entertained, and connected to the community this summer, this program checks every box.
And honestly? Sundays at Werner Park are built for families. Between the playground-style fun zones, interactive activities, kid-friendly atmosphere, and post-game traditions, it’s more than just baseball...it’s an experience kids remember long after the final inning.
The Omaha Storm Chasers have long been a staple in the Omaha metro area, serving as the Triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals and bringing high-level baseball close to home for local fans. The organization has also built a strong reputation for community involvement and family-centered events throughout the years.
For many kids, programs like Lil Chasers help spark a love for baseball while also giving families a chance to unplug and spend quality time together. In a world filled with busy schedules and screen time, there’s something refreshing about sitting in the stands, sharing snacks, cheering together, and letting kids simply be kids.
Whether your little one dreams of becoming the next big baseball star or just wants to run the bases after the game, the Lil Chasers Club is a fun and affordable way to make summer memories right here in our community.
Families can sign up at the Lil Chasers site.
